Playing the flute since 1989 Hayley was having private lessons and taking her ABRSM exams when she was introduced into marching bands by a school friend.  When in the band environment she started to learn cornet and saxophone until forming EMC with Ben Meagher in 2003.

Hayley's role is to co-ordinate the leaders, volunteers and members of the band, to drive the organisation forward and ensure the smooth running and constant strive for improvement of the entire unit.
