I have taken in part in so many wonderful performances. My favourite was visiting Brixham to perform at a Pirate Festival where we stayed in an amazing building over looking the sea. I love making friends with loads of new people and making music.
Lots of music bands and orchestras are really serious. EMC is serious about being a great band, but we are not serious in being a band. We laugh and joke with instructors and each other, play music that is exciting and perform with fun

INSTRUMENTS AND EQUIPMENT
EMC provides a musical instrument and uniform on free loan to anyone wishing to join and requires it. Instruments available are:
Flutes, Clarinets, Cornet, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, Baritone horn, Euphonium, Tuba, Drums.
Youngsters can use their own instruments if they have one.
TUITION AND LEARNING
Beginners receive musical theory tuition, 1 - 2 - 1 learning from a tutor, marching practise and then band ensemble rehearsal. Main Band members, can arrive early or arrive at 6.30pm to participate in marching practice and then ensemble.
All members participate in musical theory each week to speed up learning.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
Members social events such as summer holiday, BBQs, Inflatable fun nights, Christmas dinners and quizes are included as members. (Summer holiday is extra fees)
